At Rogers, we take pride in our work. My students love the class. They are able to express their inner-self and be the person they truly are in drama. If you think you don't have a voice, or don't fit in, believe me, by the end of the year, you'll be begging for more. We have a state of the art auditorium of which people travel to see. Our school is listed on the National Recreational Registry, what a killer building we get to be a part of daily! At Rogers, in drama you will also see slam poetry, monologue showcases, and comedy shows. Come on out for a breathtaking view and wonderful acting.
Ebony Bowl
The Ebony Bowl Team studies the great contributions of African Americans in our recent history. The quiz bowl competition happens in February on a Saturday. The students will be challenged on subjects not always taught in the junior high setting, but all students are there to represent and enjoy new academic experiences outside of the classroom.
