Will Rogers High School has a rich history in academic, activities, and athletics that began in 1939 and continues today with the forward thinking transformation into Will Rogers College High/JR High School. With a varied and innovation curriculum, all students find courses and activities that challenge and interest them. Post-secondary education is a priority as students set high expectations and strive to excel in a challenging, rigorous academic environment. While completing their high school requirements, students in 11th and 12th grade are required to take and pass college courses. These college courses are located on the Will Rogers College High School campus, so no transportation is necessary! All students have the unique opportunity to graduate with a high school diploma as well as required college hours. This revolutionary opportunity is available only at Will Rogers College High School.
Will Rogers offers the standard district curriculum at all grade levels infused with electives such as: band, orchestra, world percussion, choir, art, Spanish, Spanish for Native Speakers, JROTC, Russian, French, AVID, Newspaper, and more. Beginning in the fall of 2012, Will Rogers will require all juniors and seniors to be concurrently in high school courses and Tulsa Community Classes for college credit. The specific TCC courses will be determined on graduation requirements as well as student interest.
